But also based on a lot of other things -- e.g., he didn't allow the UN to run over our sovereignty, he didn't give away the store in any negotiations as Clinton did, he didn't allow the Chinese to get hold of our nuclear secrets as Clinton did, and he didn't give up the power of the presidency. Bush also returned the WH to a new high bar for integrity, after 8 years of end-to-end scandals under Clinton, which I believe is very important. There have not been any true scandals in the Bush WH and that's something after the Clinton mess. I believe Bush was the right president at this particular point in time and he was able to make America a safer place in spite of some really difficult challenges.
