Maybe, maybe not... (Coleman never ran all that strongly in the State polls for the year or two prior to the election... but then also, neither did Franken, the eventual DLF candidate, so who knows how a re-vote might turn out?)

But --- if you paid attention to my posts, (including the one you replied to), you'll have noted that I repeatedly expressed my support for the idea of quick new run-off elections in any case where a vote comes anywhere near as close as this one was.

That's: ANYWHERE, and ANYTIME.

I just think it's good for Democracy and the voters.
