run-off elections in any case where a vote comes anywhere near as close as this one was.

The best solution is to let the people decide and not corrupt officials.

One problem is tat corruption is so rife within the democrat party that there is almost no hope of salvaging it. The fact that the media covers up for them makes it much more difficult to ever expose just how bad it is.

Nobody sane would say that the Republican Party is sinless, but the case not be made in a believable fashion that corruption in it is even a significant fraction of the problem in the democrat party.
