I haven't started. I used to grow about 45 beds. Each of them got 5 wheelbarrows of compost mulch, many twice a year. Used to mulch my tomatoes with about 3 inches of horse manure. I must have been crazy. Each load of compost probably took 5 of the raw materials. And, for a number of years, I used to mulch the orchard with rotten hay bales. Such is life in the country. I don't have the mental energy to do the orchard like that any more, and I don't really have any sources anymore, either.
