He doesn't ax for trials. The DOJ would. Or Congress maybe? Conyers is working on stuff, but I don't know that they can prosecute, except for things like contempt of Congress.

And...if he doesn't allow prosecutions, he can use everything we have been thru as precedence, and do it himself.. he probably wouldn't, but #45? 46? If war crimes and torture are allowed to stand without legal challenge, we will never again be a moral nation.

The whole world is watching. (And, the whole world is waiting to copy us, cuz we are "the light of democracy". It can't stand unchallenged.

Congress can multi-task. They can do economy and justice at the same time.

2 years from now? Oh, this is a new Congress (decade) and that was soooooo long ago. Guess it must be OK. 2013? Nobody will even remember. And the world may end in 2012.
