I am interested in a number of the sciences and realize that we don't have all of the answers. I'm beginning to feel that you "think" you have all of the answers. Unfortunately that is not a scientific mind.
yeah.. real interested. All I see from you is this pseudo science being pumped out by the IPCC DESPITE the public disagreement of THOUSANDS of experts in the fields of meteorology and physics, including the foremost expert regarding Hurricane prediction, William Gray, who dismisses the evidence of human-influenced GW as causing Hurricanes:
"You know, when governments step in and are saying this – particularly when the Clinton administration was in – and our Vice President Gore was involved with things there, they were pushing this a lot. You know, most of meteorological research is funded by the federal government. And boy, if you want to get federal funding, you better not come out and say human-induced global warming is a hoax because you stand the chance of not getting funded."

My view is that there has been so much pumping of GW as an excuse for alternative energy and unbridled abandonment of fossil fuels regardless of economic cost to the average American (or exclusion of far greater contributors to polllution like China) that it's important to remind everyone that there are tremendous numbers of dissident scientists who aren't willing to sell their souls for Federal Grant money.
Also, I'll never forget that just 30 some years ago the big "Zeitgeist" was the next ice age. Here's a Time magazine article from 1974:
The trend shows no indication of reversing. Climatological Cassandras are becoming increasingly apprehensive, for the weather aberrations they are studying may be the harbinger of another ice age.
Telltale signs are everywhere —from the unexpected persistence and thickness of pack ice in the waters around Iceland to the southward migration of a warmth-loving creature like the armadillo from the Midwest.Since the 1940s the mean global temperature has dropped about 2.7° F.
Whatever the cause of the cooling trend, its effects could be extremely serious, if not catastrophic. Scientists figure that only a 1% decrease in the amount of sunlight hitting the earth's surface could tip the climatic balance, and cool the planet enough to send it sliding down the road to another ice age within only a few hundred years.

Ah... what a difference 34 years makes.. Now y'all are predicting the oceans will rise a meter in 100 years.
Who's so sure of themselves and think they have all the answers?
The focus that EVERYONE should be able to agree upon is the need for energy independence (or a dramatic decrease in our exports). And the QUICKEST AND MOST ECONOMICAL means of making such a transition is conversion of many vehicles to NG, with the domestic fossil fuel exploration to support it until such a time that either PHEV's come down in price so J6P can afford it, or the economy recovers.
But right now most people afford your grandious schemes of making everyone go electric. If you can afford it and don't need to choose between gasoline and food.. then go right ahead and make the transition.
