As to carrying on some dialog at the same time, heck yes. No problem. We programmers are used to doing that. We talk to the computer while programming. The darned computer won't talk back, so sometimes we talk with other programmers over the cubicle wall. Like, "Hey, Joe ... remember what happens to Reg2 on a Translate and Test instruction?". Unfortunately, Joe is sometimes in a deep philosophical discussion with his computer, so we end up just talking to ourselves ... like ... "Hmmm, Reg2 musta' been set to the condition code ... or was it the last character translated? Sure wish there was online help for this stuff. Where's that damned manual?".

So, now you know ... we'll have a great time.
