I have been pounding the table on this for decades. Its absurd to run all freight by trucks. Teamsters have always fought this initiative for obvious reasons but as the roads grow more crowded and less maintained the problem escalates and this articles solution makes all the sense in the world except the usual suspect interest groups from truck mfrs, to unions, to highway construction firms and workers are agin it.
