Me thinks they would have voted differently if they had known how it would turn out.

Maybe.......we'll see what happens in the next election. However, we already have another possibility. Hezbollah was in the same position as Hamas two years ago but that doesn't seem to have effected its popularity. In fact, in May, it is expected Hezbollah will win the parliamentary elections and control the gov't.
