01 13 09 remain in the recommended fund from vangaurd for your age group. stockcharts.com The market continues to flat basically flat and going no where. Some weeks up some weeks down but after a lenghty time from the bottom it has gone basically no where. Many of the charts above price has reached the first moving average on the chart and has turned back. It will be interesting to watch how price acts around this line on the chart. A bottom is certainly in but how strong a bounce and how high will be the question. I would have thought that the first of the year would have brought buyers in to buy back the stocks that were sold at a tax loss. It may be that institutions are selling some stocks now to defer taxes until next year. What ever is happening buyer may likely step in the pick up the sold off funds at some point
