I don't know ... I don't know ... I don't know ... on and on, etc.
I've always had trouble with the steroid thing, and sports.
Seems to me, throughout all time, whatever the kick -- Babe or Mickey's booze, some base stealer's speed pill or whatever ... it's probably always gone on in various form. Botton line is Bonds knocked the homers 'cause he could ... Babe knocked the homers 'cause he could, so didn't McGuire and Sosa, etc., and Mantle always did alright with his buddy Roger!
Look, the Yankess always played their home games in a town where the bars were open till four a.m. -- when the Yankees visited other teams the bars in those towns were down early. Does this mean the visiting team is at a disadvantage 'cause they had a good time visiting New York, or the Yankees got more sleep when they played away games? Let's think how they think with Bonds: Should the Yankees great historical record be blemished 'cause the bars were open late in New York and all the other city club's bars closed earlier?
Is alcohol and the party afterward a different kind of steriod. Maybe Wharfrat can answer this one .. I dunno!
Whoops!
I forgot.
This is about Bush pardoning Clemens, eh? Methinks Bush should first think 'bout pardoning himself!!! Clemens, as a great pitcher, is used to being in tough spots!!!!!!! |
