Jerry,

Hi there!! You didn't have lunch with Chinese Ambassador to the U.N. did you?? If you did, you must have said something to cause them to lower the rates <ggg>

Why the sudden change in posture re: the semis/semi equip makers?
Some of them (specially LRCX and AMAT) have huge backlogs and are still trading at a premium.

As Briefing says "Group wins a prize for being the worst of the worst", 10% declines in NVLS, AMAT, KLAC, etc.

I am sitting with puts on LRCX (bought few days ago), should have sold today but got greedy as usual. Can you believe it, LRCX comes out with shitty earnings and they close almost unchanged - they must have found out that I own puts on the damn thing <ggg>

KLIC and AMAT look the best, as usual semi equip makers are oversold and they will bounce back faster than the rest. KLAC came out with decent earnings, should help recover some of the losses short-term.

Regards,
Taqi
