Buddy, I think EVERYBODY'S going to get gored.

We've been lucky so far because of the size of our economy and the strength of our military. Where else are you gonna put your money besides U.S. paper and feel safe? Gold maybe?

But we've been running our Country fiscally like a South American Hunta. Massive budget deficits and massive trade imbalances and NO savings by our citizens.

Money has been staying in U.S. paper because there is no other place to go, but that's not going to last forever. Eventually we are going to have to start paying for that money with higher interest rates.

I think the History of the British Empire might be relevant.
