One would think that the DNC and Obama should use their funds to provide for security during the inaugural thereby saving the taxpayers $.

Because Washington D.C. is the seat of the Federal Government most of the expense for security in D.C. is paid by the Federal Government.

I am not surprised-------at the extra cost demand by Feinty----this could be the most difficult and expensive inaugural to manage in security in our history.

Bush has no choice but to allocate more funds, given that the D.C. City Government is not able to fund those expenses nor will they ever be able to fund the expenses for crowds that come to D.C. for whatever purpose.

A few more days and this madness will be past as we go to the next part of the Obama saga.
