tejek, the 90s is where the foundation of this current crisis was laid. clinton and greenspan engineered a phony "new economy" and then stood by and allowed the first mega bubble of our age blow up and pop right before out eyes. Phony? It wasn't phony. Millions of new jobs were created in tech. Many of those companies are still here..active and alive. Greenspan may have provided the liquidity but it took dishonest people to create the kind of housing disaster we're experiencing now.
