Clearly the numbers are down but I've got news for whomever drew up that chart. In November and December, shipping containers are full coming into LA/LB, and if they do go back out, they go empty. Why? Because consumer goods coming in from China for XMAS.....but we don't have anything to send back.......after all, most Chinese don't celebrate XMAS. So most containers stay in port until they get refilled. So while trade is down, its not quite as bad as that chart would have us believe. I can't wait to you cover your shorts so your bearish side can take a rest. ;-)
