They aren't going to loan money, no matter how much we gift them with it. Might as well go all in socialist. At least the government WILL loan the money.

Besides, the effect of the money we've been giving the "too big to fail" banks is that they aquire the "small enough to fail" banks, thus becoming even BIGGER than they were when they were "too big to fail". Isn't that just the opposite of what we'd prefer, many small banks, no one of which was "too big to fail"?
