The Republicans will vote him out of Committee and the Senate Republicans will confirm him. He did pay his taxes, albeit a bit ........ late. My point was that old Tim could as easily have been appointed by a republican as a democrat. He has broad popularity and isn't seen as an ideologue. He will get confirmed whether it should happen or not.
