The insolvent banks should go bankrupt. There are plenty of
banks, credit unions who followed sound lending policies
who in a free market should benefit by the current situation
by taking market share from these big banks. Also by propping these bozos up you are inhibiting creation of new companies by some creative financial whiz that can take advantage of some of the misspricing of these financial assets and clear the market sooner. The market has crashed already, another 50 %
decline is a small price to pay for a quicker economic recovery. Also by following the current policy the govt is sowing the seeds for a future dollar collapse.
