Is it accurate that the Jewish religion requires a defined patch of land that is "Jewish" land, and all the implications therein? Probably non-Jews don't want to live in Jewish land

The Hebrew word "ger" refers to a resident alien. The concept of minority rights is an old one for the Jews -- and I defy you to find it in the laws of customs of other people.

If you are waiting for the Israelis to apologize for wanting some land of their own where they can survive, you will wait in vain. Less than 70 years ago the Jews were hunted out of Europe as rootless cosmpolitans who belonged to no land; now they are deplored for trying to have and defend a country inside any borders. Same old hatred in new bottles. If non-Jews don't want to live in Jewish land, that's understandable, but if Jews don't want to live in non-Jewish land (esp. considering recent results), that's beyond the bounds of the new morality?


Hmmm, read a bit more of your article and found it a bit boring. It seems to me the main thing that Israel requires in order to ensure it's existence is to make its neighbors accept it's existence

Religious fanatics like Hamas will never accept Israel's existence. They can't. Allah forbids. So what do you suggest? Israel is merely giving them reasons they can understand why shooting missiles at Israeli cities is a bad idea.
