Well, I guess we can mark off Madoff as a "naked short"..

Gotta make a trade to be a short-seller.

But I sweat to god I saw is mmkr symbol pop up in several stocks I was tracking over the summer, mostly financials. I wasn't familiar with his symbol, so I looked it up.
