Kazakhstan 2008 Alumina, Zinc Output Up, Copper Output Down (Dow Jones) metalprices.com DJ Kazakhstan 2008 Alumina, Zinc Output Up, Copper Output Down MOSCOW (Dow Jones)--Kazakhstan produced 398,000 metric tons of refined copper in 2008, down 2% from 2007, the state statistics agency said Thursday. Zinc output in 2008 increased 2% to 365,561 tons, while alumina output increased 10.1% to 1.713 million tons.
