Jon I just checked with a guy here from CREAF. He said that each DVD disk will come encoded with a 'zone' (the world is divided into 5 zones) where it could be used (to match the DVD drive where one of the 5 usage zones is built in). The encoded software allows five changes to the encoded zone, whereby it will then be stuck to the zone selected at the 5th change. Most people would not need to change the zones at all unless they are relocating. The point now is whether the disk producers will drop this 5X limitations. If they do, this will make the disk very versatile for some people, i.e. those who travel could bring the disks along with them. Regards.
