(It would appear that perhaps *you* were the one not very well briefed about the results of that little poll, not I.)

For *one thing*: analogous polls were never run. So, there is no possibility of making direct comparisons or answering that little question. <g>

(The polling firm volunteered to run a parallel poll drawn from an equivalent sample of McCain voters --- but the on-the-make Talk Show bloviator refused to allow it....)

Nevertheless, in public remarks, the head of the polling firm expressed his conviction that *if* a balanced pair of polls were to be run, asking the same sorts of mostly questions about the respondent's recollection of various events in political history... he felt "confident" that a nearly identical level of political knowledge/recollection would be posted by both samples.

A confidence that I SHARE. :-)
