Who said that low margins are good for CPQ or COMS? In general, low margins aren't good for anyone. Low margins need to have large volume products in order to maintain revenue.

How much profit do you think a drive company can make on a 2 GB vs. 6 GB drive? I can go on and on...but, unless you have been closely involved with the financials of a peripherals company, I don't think its worth it.
