Well, I see I WAS the first to be banned from your new SIte. Not only that, Your reason for the ban (a duplicate post) is the most frivolous and capricious I have ever seen! Even if it were true (and it is NOT true) that I duplicate-posted INTENTIONALLY, what harm would it have done, and (particularly after I apologised) what basis do you have for banning me? It does not in any way violate YOUR TOU or SIs TOU!
I very much doubt that you want to know the TRUTH, but here it is anyway:
1. As I said previously, we incurred a brief power failure.
2. Once power was restored, I re-booted the computer.
3. I cleared several errors, then went back to your SIte.
4. I DID NOT SEE MY POST ON YOUR SITE. Probably the reason is that the computer locked up when the power failed and did NOT clear cache. Additionally, I did NOT manually clear cache.
5. Next, I did a recovery on the Word Document that I had been working on (and subsequently crashed.) I then posted it.
6. Later, I discovered that I duplicate-posted and APOLOGISED to everyone for it. Now WHY would I do that if the duplicate-post was INTENTIONAL?
7. Lastly, and most importantly a side-by-side comparison of both of the posts would PROVE that there are differences in them, as is frequently the case on a RECOVERED Word Document.
So I ask you, did you consider ANY of these things before summarily banning me? Or rather, did you just say to yourself: I HATE Elan Quatros guts and I am going to give him the boot?

Honey_bee, as you may have sensed, this whole episode is absolutely REVOLTING to me and probably to many, many others as well!
Unlike you, I do not do take actions summarily without forethought and (where applicable) forewarning. And I NEVER take actions with MALICE as you have done before and are doing now.
So, here is my request to you:
1) UN-ban me immediately.
2) Issue a full, complete and most importantly a SINCERE apology to me ON YOUR SI board, admitting your malicious behaviour.
3) Complete ALL of the above within 3 HOURS of the date stamp of this message (1/17/09 - 6:41:33 PM EST)
If all of those conditions are met to my satisfaction and within the time frame I requested, I will have nothing more to say about this ghastly, putrid, loathsome, reprehensible act that you have visited upon me.
On the other hand, if the above conditions are NOT met, I will take the matter up with upper management at SI and perhaps other organisations and entities, as necessary.
