Hello my good friend . Posting on Patrick Callahan's " Best of Breed Investing Discussions " on Facebook . Usually post on the topic , " Allan's Insights " discussion that Patrick asked me to create . The name was Patrick's idea , not mine . I usually post on subjects of interest to myself such as GNMAs , High - Yield , Bob Brinker , Sy Harding , Roth conversions , HSAs , taxes , and other things of interest to myself and hopefully others .

GNMAs at current higher nav prices are what I predicted the winter of 2005 / 2006 when I predicted that prices would drop below $10.00 a share price that next summer . I was able to pick up quite a few that summer of 2006 and 2007 . I doult that GNMAs will decline in nav price for at least another year yet . As for weither to sell them in the future or not , that's NOT my plan . I bought them for their guaranteed yield and with dividends reinvested , my average price is something like $9.25 now . ALL my GNMAs and High - Yield are in my Vanguard Roth account with dividends reinvested that should reach Flagship status later this year and is intended to be my last dollars spent after all my other deferred assets are depleted due to distributions , Roth conversions , and RMD later .
