I want to recommend a movie, or book.

What the Japanese understand that we do not, is the concept of self actualization.

The Movie is Samaurai by Hiroshi Inagaki and with Mifuni (sic) playing "MUSHASHI"!

Mushashi was a real life 16th century Samarui who wrote the five rings, was an artist and had over a 100 fights, and lost none. He spent 3 years confined to a libarary for punishment.

The story is about his seach for knowledge and self actualization.

The book Musashi should have won the nobel prize for liturature a long time ago.

The movie is made by one of the best Directors in the world, with the best actor; and the book is written with just a flavor of surrilism to give it color.

The book and movie can lead a westerner into new diminsions of understanding.
