I do forecasts every 30 days, and I thought my December forecast was conservative at 10.5 million units. Now I have learned that JCI is forecasting 9.2-9.7 million units. Either range is death for the US OEM and the suppliers.

I expect many suppliers to be gone by the end of the year, with a big wave starting in the next two months.

It is going to be ugly. But hey, large truck sales are picking up again, cause gas is 2 clownbucks. Bet that trend does not continue (and mean both gas/oil down and large truck sales up).
