Obama will probably be our greatest president since FDR, and before him, since Lincoln. He also gives this country the breath of fresh air JFK did, a new era where freedom rings. Eisenhower was a good man how he was limitd by his own far right military-industrial base to be able to change much.

FDR and Lincoln in particular were presidents who inherited a huge mess like the rightwing has left Obama. Both men united the country (except the 20% haters and complainers on the far right) and triumphed over time, taking great courage, wisdom and leadership. Three different stories, but of the same calibre.

After 8 years of Bush-cheney, we do not have a single thing Republicans can boast about as an actual accomplishment. Even The Surge was just a halfway expensive fix of the huge mess Bush-Cheney themselves created. All destruction and degradation otherwise. All crooked cheating, deregulating, privatizing, breaking laws, killing and lying. And did they keep us safe?

Bush-Cheney were both warned before 9-11 and did absolutely nothing. They also had Bin Laden trapped at Tora Bora and let him go, maybe intentionally. Think about it.
