I still give bush points for helping to keep us safe post 9/11. We will never know what would have transpired if Gore had to deal with the 9/11 aftermath. I suspect he would have done what was necessary as well. There would have been oversteps too re: intel gathering. Iraq probably wouldnt have happened and at minimium the cavalier attitude toward extra legal means wouldnt have been there. So yeah i give buah a bit of a pass post 9/11. I dont think everything had to go into the crapper the way it did, if competence rather than arrogance ruled the day in the whitehouse.
