I think western civilization is often condemned for slavery. We forget that western societies and western ideas were the first to condemn slavery and to stop it. The importance of Western Civilization is often underestimated. Ask yourself what kind of a country would you be living in if we had a muslim culture or an eastern culture.

Those who comdemn people who lived hundreds of years ago in a different world should remember that they will be judged by generations hundreds of years from now and I am not sure that judgment will be kind.
