HOUSTON, July 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Labwire Inc. (Pink Sheets:LBWR) announces that the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Workplace Screening Services, has begun providing security services to the chemical facilities and oil and gas refineries in Norco, Louisiana, consisting of canine bomb detection and canine surveillance. The first canine team was successfully deployed on June 1, 2005, through an affiliate partnership with American K-9 Bomb Search Inc., Houston, Texas.
Labwire is currently working with four of the five facilities in Norco through a contract with one of the world's largest oil, gas and chemical companies. This contract calls for the implementation of security services at various production facilities and refineries along the Gulf Coast region including Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Trained and certified K-9 surveillance teams will be used for the inspection of rail cars and deliveries as well as to provide access control and maintenance of the overall port facility security. These security and surveillance services are fully manageable via the Company's leading edge Labwire Platform which includes operational and audit reports.
Dexter Morris, President of Labwire, Inc., commented, "Labwire and its subsidiary take pride in the ability to provide the highest level of security with centralized management to such a sizeable multinational corporation. With our exposure to some of the world's largest oil and gas companies in facilitating this contract, we anticipate that our aggressive market penetration will continue. Due to our early success, we are currently in discussions to implement our security solutions at additional oil, gas and chemical facilities."
