And China's GDP is still expected to grow this year albeit more slowly.

Wait and see how things are going in 6 months. FWIW, US economists didn't do so hot in early 2008 predicting what would happen in late 2008. Heck, our recession was declared to have started a year before it was first admitted we were in one. So I'd guess any predictions about China are subject to revision as well.
