John, I'd say if you can get a brand name 32-use bottle for $4.00 or under it's a good deal. I don't consider Purex a brand name.

As for paper towels, I think I paid $6.00 for the last batch of Bounty 12-pack rolls. Target usually has good deals on them, although I've found the store branded ones in my area are identical to Bounty all the way down to the sheet size and perforations, so I buy those for $5.00 for 6-double rolls, which means they're made by Bounty but with a different brand name.

I don't do ice cream anymore since I can't burn the calories like I once did. I do still eat about 1-lb. of chocolate chips ever 3-days, however <G> Of course, that's an antioxidant, so I'm extending my lifespan by downing them <G>
