I lost a lot of respect for Jim Rodgers in 2007 when the SSEC was nearing 6000 and he said while it was overvalued, he wasn't selling any of his China holdings.

I thought what kind of fool would allow his holdings to deflate with a bubble? I thought the SSEC would drop to at least 2400 from there and possibly as low as 2200, which I later modified as the drop began.

This guy left the USA because he was concerned about the USD and the economy, but he watched as his China holdings lost 75% of their value and did nothing.
