I think the beaches, shores and offshore regions of Florida should be covered with windmills as far as the eye can see. And the Everglades too.

Might be tough on the pelicans, spoonbills, egrets, and gulls, but screw 'em.

Seriously, a state with folks who object to wells within 50 miles of shore isn't gonna tolerate massive wind farms spoiling their views and killing their waterfowl. Who's kidding who?
