<The only reason Barron Chase got this deal was because Stratton Oakmont went down the tubes>

FryingPan/Fire

<H&Q supposedly wanted to big of a cut.>

If H&Q would have underwritten them, the company would have been absolutely foolish to use boiler room firms. I doubt they were ready for prime time and went with where they could go.

<This company is real. Their patent puts them in a leadership position in this field>

I believe this, and I am long many shares around 6ish. This is the technology du jour, and Savitz's focus piece was wind at the back. Telcos and telecom companies (backbone providers/ private networkers / ISPs, etc.) are and will be scrambling to get on board the VoIP bandwagon. Additionally and specifically, I understand ETEL's tech is highly rated.

More reputable banking firms have been looking at them, and maybe we'll get some higher tier MMs than BACH, MASH, ISLD, etc... on the box and with research coverage soon.

In the meantime, the stock could be tricky to trade clean - although for larger purchases, Instinet has been providing trading in the spread.
