Sounds like it's time for her to buy her own car. Maybe she would be a bit more careful with the thing. Wow.

My oldest daughter rear ended a gal on the way to town. The other women was ticketed because she failed to yield leaving her driveway. Once Amanda's car had been towed away I said you may not have gotten the ticket but you were at fault. She was offering excuses at about 100 a minute and I simply stated that she hit the women on the rear bumper and that is always your fault for not being defensive. She continued to argue and I said lets try a little test here. We got in my truck and got seat belts on and turned around and went back around the corner to retrace her route. I told her younger sister in the back to pay attention to this test and started to drive back to town. I told Amanda you scream at me when that women pulled out in front of you. I sped up to 60 and it's a 45 zone and was just about to the driveway when Amanda screamed. I slammed on the brakes and we came to a stop. I said I am 10' past her driveway, you hit her 240 feet from her driveway or 230' further up the road then I am now. Either you were A driving 90 which I know that car won't do or B you weren't paying attention. In the future your only job as a driver is to pay attention and not hit people even when they are in the wrong.

Neither kid has had an accident since that day.
