And why is it that the US is the one that always has to remove bad actors from power?

One.. WE CREATED THE UN.

Two.. We're the most powerful nation on the planet, both economically and militarily. No other country has the ability to do what we can do. But some 49 nations participated in the overthrow of Saddam to one degree or another.

Three.. We're a permanent member of the UNSC.

Four.. Three other permanent members of the UNSC will guilty of grossly undermining the legitimacy of the UN(SC) by colluding with Saddam's government to secretly circumvent sanctions.

but if we followed our Iraq policy on every Dictator around the world. We'd be even more broke than we are now and every man woman and child would be in the military.

And how much more expensive would it be to send the signal that these tyrants could publicly thumb their nose at the UNSC, undermining it to the point where it became another League of Nations?

We know what happened with the League of Nations failed. Millions of people DIED and entire economies were destroyed.

If you send a signal that you're not willing to thwart the aggression of these tyrants, they take the signal that it's okay.. Isn't that the argument that you conspiracy freaks asserted back in 1990, claiming that we gave Saddam the "green light" to invade Kuwait?
