A black market existed in these parts. We know that much. I know of no credible evidence that the Reagan administration participated in that market. Once again, if you have credible evidence, please present it. Otherwise, you're holding nothing but your dick in your hand.

If you have the technology to do it. It isn't like you can make engine parts in your garage. Not to mention the avionics.

There is very little that cannot be reverse engineered given the money and desire to do it. You can't make engine parts in your garage but a well-equipped facility certainly can make many of them. And they still had the 80 or so existing planes to use for spare parts.
