If there are any live poets left in what seems to be the Dead Poets Society, what was your impression on the poem read at today's inauguration by poet Elizabeth Alexander?

I thought it was very hard hitting, unconventional and not especially poetic, but did the job admirably.

I found a number of references to the poet on Google, but no link to the poem.

Please post such a link if you find one.
