Ken, I think that it would be very beneficial to have an on site visit. You will also find it rewarding and interesting if you have the time. There is always something new to learn about a company. We researched and asked questions but we missed this, for example:

HOUSTON, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The 1997 Micro-Cap Equities conference
has announced the initial list of presenters for the national conference to be
held in Houston on November 4 and 5, 1997. A total of 50 companies will
participate, selected from 400 nominated publicly traded companies with market
capitalization of $150 million or less.
Presenters at the second annual conference represent a diverse range of
industries from technology to transportation. Participants include
Microvision, Inc., a developer of retinal display technology; Ice Ban America,
developer of an environmentally friendly highway anti-icing and de-icing
product; Meridian Medical Technologies, a leader in auto-injector and drug
delivery technology; and Dynamex, a provider of custom transportation systems.
Among the participants at the conference will be 14 Texas-based
corporations. Seven companies -- Aronex Pharmaceuticals, DSI Toys, Inc., DXP
Enterprises, Golden Eagle, Inc., Intersystems, Inc., KMG-B, Inc., and Lark
Technologies, Inc. -- are based in Houston.
The Micro-Cap Equities Conference provides small corporations with a
unique venue to present their businesses to hundreds of investors and market
analysts.
"Micro-cap companies can represent some of the best investment
opportunities in the market, yet it is often hard for investors to gather
information about these smaller firms," said Clifford McFarland, managing
director of the investment banking firm McFarland, Grossman and Company, who
originated the conference last year. "By bringing these companies together in
one place, we are creating a showcase for the companies and a tremendous one-
stop research resource for analysts and investors."
Portions of this year's conference will be webcast live by Direct Stock
Market, an Internet-based marketplace for both public offerings and private
placements.
The 1997 Micro-Cap Equities Conference will be held at the Four Seasons
Hotel in Houston. It includes an evening reception November 4 and a full day
of concurrent presentations November 5. More than 400 investors and analysts
are expected to attend. The conference is underwritten by McFarland Grossman
& Company, Inc., and Bank One. For registration information, call Paul
Jackson at 713-464-7770, or visit the conference website at
