I was a bit concerned by a line in his speech in which he stated something like "we will not give up our ideals for protection" or something along those lines which signaled to me he intends to weaken efforts to gather intelligence etc.

It seemed to stick out as he quickly rambled past it. He may be somewhat naive.

I will wait and see just what he does do. I have been relatively fed up with the second coming crap. No he is declaring he may not appear as a God for a while. lol

I just hope he thinks out decisions rather than react to particular interest groups.
