Question on any UK investors on this board - My daughter is a US citizen working in UK. She has about 40GBP saved in a UK bank account that is now getting very little interest. In addition the GBP is now much lower that the USD if she wants to convert GBP back to USD to invest here. Can anyone suggest what is the best approach to deploy her savings?

She has a US brokerage account here and I could use part of the money in her US account to hedge against the falling GBP (e. g. short the FXB or long UUP). What else can be done to invest GBP cash that she has now? UK banks themselves are in trouble.

Comments welcome.
