>>> We do? How?

I say "we" -- the intelligence community knew it. It was not particularly well known, but it was out there.

The only place I can find a reference to it now is a post at New Republic, which wouldn't satisfy your high standards for evidence (higher than the standards when YOU are making a claim).

At any rate, it WAS known at the time.

We do know that the Reagan administration sold Iran weapons from Iran/Contra.

Actually, we don't have any evidence that the Reagan administration in any way, shape or form transferred F14 parts to Iran, which is the essence of your prior claim.

As I said, there is zero evidence to support the claim.

It is YOU who is making shit up.

Only if you have the tooling.,

Correct, and while certain parts require tolerance that was beyond their capability, others did. Thus, the language I chose -- that you can manufacture "some". The proportion of parts that could be custom manufactured either by Iran or by Russia or others would have been substantial, although I don't know what it was.
