I am not a shorty fan but if his post to you is true, we are still fighting an imoral criminal gang of islamic extremists. I would do anything i could to prevent a chem or bio attack on the US or anywhere else for that matter. How does your torture position mesh with the reality of who are enemy is? Do we someday condemn an american city to death because we were too busy reading some al quaeda his miranda rights? I know this is the bush argument and i know they used it to justify the indefensable against minor players or innocents but the core question remains and no one really wants to talk about it. If Jack Bauer finds a school about to be blown up and he has to cut off someones privates to get the code to stop it in order to save 300 kids, ........ no high horses on answers...lets deal with this extreme case and then decide what to do if old jack cut off the wrong balls.
