So there optimistic before he does anything. But what do they (or since you can't read minds, what do you) think would qualify Obama's presidency as a success, or more to the point what would mean that he was a very good president? (The difference being that if conditions are right things can improve during a presidents time in office, without him having done much to cause them to improve).
