Thanks Charlie the DSP information makes it clear that TI is gaining momentum in DSP'S.I agree with you about the $2.5 billion ------it sems like they are deploying the money strategicly and investing in tools and seeding the Universities and third parties---very much like they did with their Instructional calculator business which is now very much in a leadership position.
Do you think they will invest a good chunck in fabs or maybe look for an up and coming company to buy?
Thanks again for the information----clears up the question and kills the allegation that Dsp is a pipe dream that is to be short lived.
