Those are great memories Geoff. I'm sorry those special people are gone from your life. I know I have a gazillion questions I wish I'd asked my loved ones. One being...........what do you know about our ancestors? I once asked my Mother what her Grandmother's maiden name was. She was so out of it she didn't know. I finally found out....with the help of KLP.......because I knew where she was buried. I called the cemetery and they sent me a "blue sheet." I know she had a hard life coming over from Norway at the age of 16 alone and afraid. I only met her once, when I was 7, and she was sweet. She made us a home made Angle Food cake with chocolate frosting. She'd been a cook at a UW sorority and at summer camps. Great cook!
